Venus Aerospace is building a space plane to enable one-hour global travel, and doing it with completely green propellants. This is possible because of three distinct breakthroughs—advances in engine technology, airframe shape, and leading edge cooling—which will allow the space plane to take off from an airport, boost to the edge of the atmosphere and travel at Mach 9, and then land in an hour on the other side of the globe with a two-hour turnaround time. The company's headquarters is in Houston. The Venus team has over 500+ years of aerospace and rocket experience at companies including Virgin Orbit, SpaceX, NASA, Blue Origin, Stratolaunch, and Virgin Galactic.
