The Path Project is a community and youth development organization that seeks to disrupt the cycle of generational poverty in low-income mobile home parks that are home to mostly Mexican immigrant families. Many challenges face the children who live in these parks, but the biggest obstacles are hopelessness and a lack of access to opportunity and relationships. The Path Project offers a variety of programming aimed at creating opportunity for children in mobile home parks including academic support and mentoring. Launched in response to one child asking for homework help, The Path Project began in the Gwinnett Estates Mobile Home Park in Loganville, GA in 2010. It has since grown into an independent organization serving nearly 1,000 children in eight mobile home parks in GA and TN.
