Josh Kwan is the President of The Gathering, a learning community of philanthropists motivated by their Christian faith to give humbly and steward wisely all the resources God has entrusted to their care. Previously, he was a Co-Founder and Partner at Praxis, a creative engine for redemptive entrepreneurship. Josh led grantmaking and impact investing to fight global poverty at the David Weekley Family Foundation. He worked as a journalist and was published in The San Jose Mercury News, The Wall Street Journal, and Stanford Social Innovation Review. He co-founded and served on the board of Abide, the world’s most popular Christian meditation app. He graduated with an AB from Harvard and an MBA from Northwestern. He and his wife and two girls live near San Francisco.
