With a background in peace-making and conflict transformation in global and religious contexts, Christy Vines knows well the power of empathy when engaged effectively. For more than a decade she traveled the world looking for solutions to some of our world’s greatest conflicts. She learned that empathy is that solution. With these experiences as her guide, Christy built a venture that engages empathy in spaces of division and polarization here at home, to unify divided communities, societies and even nations. A published writer and international speaker with close to 20 years of experience, Christy has served as an expert and advisor to faith, corporate and public leaders, and government agencies in and outside of the U.S. She has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a B.A. in Sociology with a quantitative analysis emphasis.
