Co-Founder Douglas Toal, PhD, is a microbiologist with over 25 years of experience in developing and commercializing diagnostic tests and services. He has held business and scientific leadership positions in several commercial operations, spanning multiple industries. A significant portion of his career has been devoted to applying systems-biology tools to identify and commercialize diagnostic biomarkers to inform on disease and health status. Douglas holds a BS in biology, an MS in microbiology from Oral Roberts University, and a PhD in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma.
